How FX Licence Check South Africa handles your data
No cookies, no trackers, no accounts. What is worth reading consists of the parts our host and the broker can see.
Links to the broker we work with
Outbound partner links on this site go through an address on this domain that redirects to the broker and attaches a tag naming the page you came from. The tag identifies the page, not you: it carries no name, no email, no device id.
The broker's site puts you in their hands, with their cookies and their privacy policy, and it is that policy which governs anything you do there, including opening an account. Read it before you fund anything.
The one advertisement on this site is an image we host here, on this domain, with the headline written as ordinary text on the page. Until you decide to follow the link, no advertiser sees your browser, and no request for it leaves this site, so loading it tells nobody anything.
| What it is | How it is marked | Who pays |
|---|---|---|
| A partner link to a broker | Marked sponsored, behind a label saying where it goes | The broker may pay us if you open an account |
| The register extract | Copied from the regulator | Nobody can pay to be in it, out of it, or described differently |
| Everything else on the page | Not for sale | No editorial placement, no paid ranking |
You pay nothing extra for using a partner link, and the payment changes nothing on the page.
What happens to your message
Mail to [email protected] reaches an ordinary mailbox. The message is kept by us only while it is useful - a correction thread lasts as long as the page it fixed stays live - and we neither add you to anything nor pass it on.
On request, your correspondence will be deleted by us, and you will be told when that is done. The request in question uses the same address.
Where the line runs
- General information about how licensing and trading work
- That is what this site publishes
- A recommendation of a broker, a pair or a position size
- Not here, and not by mail
- Anything adjusted to your income, debts or tolerance for loss
- We do not know them and never ask
- Advice as the FSCA defines it
- A regulated activity; we are not licensed for it
If you want advice, take it from someone the FSCA authorises to give it.
Revisions to this page
If the site starts doing something that touches your data - an analytics tool, a comment form, a saved preference - this page changes before that ships, not after, and the date below moves. Honesty in a privacy page means describing what the site does today.
The date is thus the claim, not decoration: it states when someone last opened the built site and checked this page against it. If you find something here that the pages no longer do, or something they do that is not here, that is a correction and the address above is where it goes.
| Step | What happens | When |
|---|---|---|
| 1 · You write | The page address and what the correct value is | Any time |
| 2 · We check it | Against the public source you name, not against our own page | Same week |
| 3 · The page changes | The figure is replaced and the page says it was corrected | With the date on it |
A number is never quietly edited to leave the page looking as though it always said that.
Nothing about you is stored here
FX Licence Check South Africa sets no cookies. It refrains from local storage, session storage and fingerprinting. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no tag manager and no social widget on any page. You can check: open the developer tools on any page here and look at storage and at the network requests.
Because we offer no accounts, no logins and no newsletter, no database holds your name. No data identifying you is held by us unless you have written to us before.
| Mechanism | Used here | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Cookies | No | Nothing is set, first or third party |
| Local and session storage | No | Nothing is written to your browser |
| Analytics of ours | No | No script, no pixel, no tag manager |
| Accounts or logins | No | There is no database with your name in it |
| Newsletter or forms | No | Nothing to subscribe to |
| Fingerprinting | No | No device or canvas identification |
Check it yourself: developer tools, the storage tab and the network tab, on any page here.
Records made by the server
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. The technical details of a request, such as IP address, time, the page asked for and the browser string, are logged by the host itself, as any web host does, in order to serve the page and keep the service running. Under its own terms Cloudflare handles that processing, and we do not build profiles from it.
| Party | What it sees | Why it is there |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Pages | The request, your IP and browser string, in its own logs | It serves the files |
| The broker, after you follow a partner link | Whatever its own site collects, under its own policy | You left this site |
None of it passes through us, and we build no profile from any of it.
Questions we are asked
No. There is no use of cookies, local storage or fingerprinting. The broker you reach through a partner link does use them, under its own policy.
We have no data to sell. No accounts, forms or analytics means no visitor dataset exists that could be sold, shared or lost.
The same address as everything else: [email protected]. Request that your correspondence be deleted, and it will be.
